Raymond Weil, Ever Expanding Empire

The luxury watch company of Raymond Weil, is spreading its wings and its operations, to cover new markets. The incredibly successful Swiss watch makers have had a solid presence in China for over 10 years, but in 2010 the focus will be to broaden their efforts and increase their business. This month a fresh new boutique will open in Nantong, which is in the vicinity of Shanghei, and considered to be an important commercial center. The boutique will feature the company’s famous collections, like the Othello, the Amadeus, and the Don Giovanni. These luxury boutiques are scheduled to open all over the world, in hope of strengthening the brand.

The Middle East has already shown Raymond Weil promise. A boutique was opened up in Jeddah, and is doing so well that a second location was added in March of this year, in Al Khobar. The Al Khobar location is situated in the center of the prestigious Al Rashid mall.

Raymond Weil – A History of Successes

In 2011, Raymond Weil celebrates 35 years of success. The business, established in 1976 by the titular founder, has since become a flagship prestigious Swiss watch brand in the UK and around the world. Although it is admired as a brand on an international scale, the company’s passionate independent spirit remains intact with the third generation of the family joining the business in 2006 and now guiding the company to a prosperous future.

Not long after Raymond Weil watches were first established, Weil’s son-in-law Olivier Bernheim joined the family business in 1982. Together, Weil and Bernheim ensured the watches being produced were novel in concept and design, with quality always the primary goal.
